  • ½ cup salted butter 113 grams, room temperature (1 stick)
  • 2 cups dark brown sugar 426 grams
  • teaspoons ground cinnamon 5 grams
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder 63 grams

  • In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream the butter, sugar, and cinnamon together.

    ½ cup salted butter, 2 cups dark brown sugar, 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • Slowly incorporate the cocoa and mix until relatively smooth. It should be the consistency of a sugar scrub. Transfer to an airtight container until ready to use.

    ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
