Staff very friendly except for GM who seemed to be rough around the edges. Average rooms. Not well maintained. I stayed here 4-5 times through the years and have noticed significant west and tear of furnitures, carpets, etc. Last time I stayed 3 times over the course of a month to be with my mother who was in hospital because of Covid-19. She ultimately passed away from the disease. I attempted to negotiate an affordable rate with GM and he did not budge…wouldn’t even throw in parking for free even after I explained the situation and informed him I was low on funds due to unforeseen circ*mstances. I could not tell whether or not rooms were sanitized. One of the rooms had a fowl/stale smell. The last room was a two bedroom and we really liked it. However, the king room is very tight…not a lot of space between wall, desk, night stands and bed. There was a fire drill that woke us abruptly and had all occupants outside on street at 3 am the morning or my mothers funeral. Very unfortunate, but just glad everyone was safe and sound. Apparently. Some guests were smoking in their room. The walls are paper thin. The parking garage does not accommodate large/tall vehicles and vehicles with car too storage. Hotel is located to everywhere you want to be…food and convenience store and famous all within walking distance.

The hotel location was perfect because it was close to UGA and downtown area. However, we wanted to watch the Olympics on NBC. NBC was blacked out because of some dispute with direct TV is what the hotel told us. When ever you take a shower, water gets all over the bathroom floor because there is an open gap underneath the shower that causes water to disperse all over the floor. The ac and heat unit is very loud when it runs and if you are a light sleeper, good luck getting a good night sleep. The breakfast wasn’t anything special and would have rather paid for a better breakfast than what they provided. The hotel wouldn’t honor the total price that I booked with thru a third party and asked me to call them when I got home instead of adjusting the price and honoring it. They charged me $ 20 over what was booked.. I would not stay there again based upon these issues.

I stay at this hotel regularly for work, and the amenities, staff, and atmosphere are all 5 stars and beyond. The rooms are clean, spacious, trendy, and the beds are very comfortable. Each time I visit I bring my dog, who is always welcomed as warmly as I am. It's very clear that this staff cares about four legged guests as much as they care about the two legged ones. Speaking of the staff- they are beyond welcoming, accommodating, and always make me feel well taken care of. Special shout out to Micayla who offered to take my dog for a walk during a hotel-wide fire drill so that he wouldn't be scared! What an angel. Those little things make the biggest difference! I always look forward to my stay with this hotel, and I highly recommend.

The hotel is located in the downtown of the University of Georgia, where the University of Georgia is located. It is also very close to the school. The hotel has recently been renovated. We have been here for 2 consecutive years to see children staying at this hotel. They are all new. Although they have just been renovated soon, they have no obvious taste. The decoration design is very beautiful and the living is comfortable. Especially what makes me feel convenient is the free self-service laundry service. Breakfast is rich, buffet breakfast with bacon, sausage, cheese omelet, fruit, yogurt and more. There is a parking lot, which costs 5 knives a day. Also, the management of the hotel is very good, it is a very good hotel, I will stay next time

This was the worst inn we have ever stayed at. When we made our reservation we were told the charge was $89. There were bugs in the room and all in the bathtub. They told us there would be breakfast in the morning and there was none to be had (not even coffee). When we checked out they charged us $161.39 for the one night and would NOT honor the $89 charge that was were promised when we made the reservation. Never stay at America's best value inn.

This was a situation where a friend needed a room for the night. The front desk person was extremely helpful and the transaction with me making the payment for the room was oh so easy. The room itself was clean, comfortable and quiet. My friend said that she ”slept like a log”! I would definitely recommend this property and will probably stay here myself, when I visit the area. If you ever need to help a friend or family member to find a nice and safe place to stay, this is it!
